So we have made it to Ghana and are in our hotel. We had a long but smooth flight. I watched The Ides of March which was a good film about American politics. Our hotel is nice I think with good food. We are right on the beach. It is very hot but we had a rain shower today. Our first day has been OK but we needed up on a long car ride to the Cape Coast castle. We had a fascinating tour and it was very atmospheric to see the dungeons where the slaves were kept. Then we tried to go to the Kakum National Park but it was shut! We have had a lot of travelling so tomorrow we are looking forward to a day lazing around tomorrow!
